It snowed yesterday and there’s frost today. When I stepped outside to see the ice on all the cars I immediately wondered if the locals here have scrapers. Sounds silly but when I moved to Illinois from Florida this was a big learning experience for me. Actually having to scrape ice off your windsheild and letting your car warm up before going anywhere. That was unheard of to me.
I’ll be leaving here in a few days to head back to Chicago for a few weeks. And to everyone who said that I’d be bored here and go stir crazy…okay, FINE. I’m predictable. If it wasn’t for my seven day crusade to Vegas I probably would have pulled out my own hair.
Sedona is a beautiful and magical place, but I’m really not quite hippie enough to want to live here. I miss the sounds of the city. The energy of the people. The family I’ve found in Chicago….my “peeps”. Yup, I’m homesick. :)
